SuperDex ("SuperDex," "we," "us," or "our") builds a smarter networking layer for modern professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the SuperDex iOS app and related services (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
We designed SuperDex to give you control. You own your profile card, you decide what to share, and we never sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address or phone number, which we use to authenticate you with one-time codes (OTP).
- Profile information. Your card data — name, role, company, tagline, profile photo or memoji, country code, social links, custom links, and any portfolio images you choose to add.
- Network data. Contacts you save, groups you create, meeting notes, connection requests you send or receive, and discover-feed activity.
- Support and feedback. Bug reports, feature requests, and any messages you send us.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information. Basic device data such as iOS version and app version, used to keep the app working correctly.
- Local preferences. Settings stored on-device via iOS User Defaults to remember your in-app choices.
- Subscription information. If you purchase SuperDex Pro, our subscription processor (RevenueCat) receives a pseudonymous app user ID and your Apple receipt to validate the purchase. Payment itself is handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
1.3 Permissions we request
- Camera. Used only when you scan a QR code. Camera frames are processed on-device and are not uploaded.
- Photo Library (add only). Used only when you save your SuperDex QR image to Photos. We do not read your library.
We do not request access to your iPhone Contacts; when you save a connection to Contacts, the iOS system handles the write through the standard share sheet.
2. How we use information
- Provide the core features of SuperDex — profile cards, QR sharing, groups, meeting history, Discover feed, connection requests, and profile-view insights.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Process and validate SuperDex Pro subscriptions and entitlements.
- Respond to bug reports, feature requests, and support inquiries.
- Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce our agreements.
SuperDex does not use your data for advertising, and we do not perform cross-app or cross-website tracking. No SDKs in the app track you.
3. How sharing works inside SuperDex
SuperDex is a sharing tool by design. The information on your profile card is shown to people who scan your QR or view your profile in the Discover feed, in line with the visibility you've configured. With SuperDex Pro, selective sharing lets you reveal only the fields you choose, per person, per moment.
When another user views your profile, we record that view so you can see who's checking you out (Pro feature). When you save a contact, an associated meeting record is created in your account so you remember the context.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to operate the Service. Each receives only the data necessary for their function:

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information under the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you sign up for), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, improving the Service), consent (where required, such as optional permissions), and legal obligations.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and edit. You can view and update your profile at any time from inside the app.
- Visibility controls. Adjust who can find and view your profile from Privacy & Visibility settings.
- Delete your account. You can request account and data deletion at any time by emailing support@superdex.app.
- Subscriptions. Manage or cancel your SuperDex Pro subscription from the iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions screen.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA, UK, California), you may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, port, delete, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above.
8. Children
SuperDex is intended for users aged 13 and older (16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. International transfers
SuperDex is offered globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and authenticated APIs — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
11. Tracking
SuperDex does not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. We do not use the iOS AppTrackingTransparency framework because we have nothing to track.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice inside the app.
